Mondo Updates! Skeletor, Iron Giant, the 1st Turtle and More

Mondo set the collecting world on fire this year with plenty of updates on their mind-blowing, massive Iron Giant action figure, the announcement of the return of MADBALLS, giant sized Mirage inspired Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and more. Mondo has always been a tight group of fans making product for the films and projects they love. Now their collectibles division is following this same line of thinking and succeeds in making many a geek's dreams come true with every report. Brock Otterbacher, Mondo's Creative Director for Toys and Collectibles, gives us the latest word on all things plastic...

It’s been just over a year since we officially started offering toys and collectibles, and while this past year has seen us offering some crazy stuff (I never in my life imagined I’d be able to make 1/6 scale TMNT figures!), this upcoming year is going to be even more insane. 

For the 1st quarter of 2016, we’ll be shipping The First Hellboy statue, The First Turtle figure, and of course, the Iron Giant deluxe figure. We’ll also be putting up the 1/6 scale Raphael figure pre-order, the Godzilla statue we showed at SDCC, and a few other fun surprises.

In the video blog above, I shared with you a look at a production sample of the First Turtle, as well as the packaging, a quick behind the scenes look at the 1/6 scale Skeletor figure, a bit of the Godzilla statue, and finally a last look at the Iron Giant before he ships.

Not mentioned in the video is the fact that before the end of the year, we’ll have two more items available - one right before Christmas, and the other… VERY soon. Let’s also not forget stuff like Hitchcock, Ramona Flowers, Batman: The Animated Series, MondoBalls (!!!), and so much more!
